January CDL Grookey

CDL returns to competitive play on 18 January with the first of 2 matches of the Descend Season, Grookey Community Day(CD). The Chimp Pokemon will take over Doncaster in an attempt to revitalise us in the cold.

Last season, RDAB finished outside the relegation zone of Worlds Route. Will we remain in this top Route of the League? Only you can help us determine that.

RDAB rewards remain 1 GoPass Stamp for participation, +1 GoPass Stamp for placing on a top 10 leaderboard, +1 GoPass Stamp for Winning a leaderboard. Max 3 GoPass Stamps. All members of the winning squad will receive an Ambassador code. You must have the rdab.app to receive stamp rewards, digital Ambassador codes, and redeem stamp rewards for prizes.

CDL is a global catching competition between various ambassador communities vying for catching dominance.

The competition is broken down in two divisions; Catch and Weight.

Catch Division is 1 point for every grookey caught, +5 point bonus for every shiny grookey caught (shiny trades not allowed) during the 3 hour CD event time period. You will need starting and ending Grookey Pokédex screenshots to generate your catch total. Shiny scores are based on a screenshot of your shinies with the search string Age0&shiny&!traded&+grookey

Weight Division is determined by the heaviest and lightest shiny grookey caught during the time period. Please note that xxl/xxs are determined by height so your heaviest/lightest shiny may not be 2x.

Screenshots must be taken between 9am and 5:15pm on community day. You have until 9pm to upload them either on the website or the Campfire channel. Squads are randomly assigned. If you are new to CDL, please post in the Campfire Channel your trainer name and team (red/yellow/blue) for assignment.

Because CDL is a global comp, you do not have to attend a Meetup or play in Doncaster during the event. However, if you are able, consider coming to the Meetup for the checkin rewards and other bonuses like in person competitions/rewards if the ambassadors/members are feeling generous. Physical rewards are subject to checkin to a Meetup.
